The costs are based on the number of attendees. We require a minimum of 6 participants per course, with discounts for large groups.
We present our courses nationwide and can travel to your location, provided it is safe and conducive to learning. We also have training facilities in Paarl.

- First Aid Level 1-3: Valid for 3 years, accredited by the Department of Labour.
- American Heart Association and Resuscitation Council of South Africa courses: Valid for 2 years, accredited by AHA and RCSA.

After deciding on a course, we will send a quotation to confirm your needs. A deposit is required to secure your seat. For group bookings, an 80% deposit and a signed terms & conditions document are needed.
First aid training equips you to respond appropriately in emergencies, potentially saving lives. According to the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993), businesses must have personnel trained in first aid and CPR. Non-compliance can result in fines.
All courses are presented in English.
Yes, successful completion of a CPR or First Aid course can earn Discovery members 2000 points.
Yes, each Healthcare Provider course offers different CPD/CEU points. Check our course list for specific points available.
The OHS Act requires employers to provide a safe workplace and ensure non-employees are not exposed to risks. Section 8 emphasises maintaining a safe workplace, while Section 9 covers responsibilities to non-employees.
Certificates are released within 10 working days after completing the course and assessment. They are sent electronically to the company representative or individual who paid for the course.
Our facilitators are OHS practitioners, paramedics, or firefighters with practical operational experience and certifications in presenting first aid, firefighting, and other OHS courses.
Yes, our certificates are recognised across South Africa, in line with the OHS act and industry standards.
Yes, we regularly review and update our course content to align with industry trends, practices, and guidelines, including compliance with the OHS act and Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa.
