Qualification Title: Occupational Certificate – Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner.

Curriculum Code: 226302001, SAQA ID: 99714, NQF Level 5 (256 Credits).

Duration: 18-24 Months

Components:

  • 76 Knowledge Modules: Distance learning with contact sessions and online tests.
  • 62 Practical Skills Modules: Tasks and documents to be uploaded to the instructor.
  • 118 Work Experience Modules: Supervised and signed off work experience.
  • Qualification for exit exam at a QCTO Assessment Centre (4 hours) Entry Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate or Equivalent (with Mathematical Literacy) Professional Recognition:
  • Registration with professional bodies such as SACPCMP and SAIOSH.
  • International recognition through DQS and GAE.
